South Melbourne

Minutes from the CBD and close to the West Gate Freeway. Ideal for city-based renters, airport travellers, and anyone heading west along the Great Ocean Road. Street parking available for pickup and drop off.

Route 96 stops at Albert Park on the light rail, about 80 metres from the branch, on its run from Bourke Street and Southern Cross. Route 1 from Swanston Street stops at Bridport Street, about four minutes' walk away, and route 12 stops on Albert Road, about five. Drivers can reach the West Gate Freeway at Montague Street, about 2 km away.

Opening hours.

Both branches share the same opening hours. After-hours pickup or drop off can be arranged by prior agreement, give us a call to set it up.

What pickup looks like.

Fifteen minutes, from arrival to keys in hand.

Arrive at your chosen location.
Park nearby and come to our counter during opening hours. If you need after-hours pickup, contact us in advance to arrange.
Verify your documents.
We'll check your licence, ID, proof of address, and payment card. The $400 bond is charged at booking and refunded approximately 2 weeks after return, less any outstanding tolls or charges.
Vehicle walkthrough.
We'll walk around the vehicle together, note any existing marks, check fuel, and confirm the condition report.
Sign and drive.
Sign the rental agreement digitally, collect the keys, and you're on your way. The whole process takes about 15 minutes.

What to bring.

Valid driver's licence.

Australian or overseas licence accepted. If not in English, bring an International Driving Permit (IDP) or certified translation.

Credit or debit card.

Required for the $400 refundable security bond. Must be in the main driver's name.

Photo ID.

Passport or government issued photo ID. Additional drivers must also bring their licence.

Returning your car.

✓Give at least 48 hours notice via your manage portal, WhatsApp, or phone
✓Return with a full tank of fuel, same as when you collected it
✓We'll do a 10-minute walkthrough inspection with you
✓You'll receive a return confirmation email straight away
✓Your $400 bond is refunded within approximately two weeks
