At pickup and again at drop off, you walk round the car with your phone and photograph the same 18 spots. Here is each one: where to stand and what to get in the frame.

Your photos are stamped with the time they were taken and stored with your booking. If a mark is ever in question, they show the car as you got it.

We photograph the same 18 spots at the handover. Two sets of the same pictures means nobody has to remember anything.
It takes about two minutes.
The camera walks you round the car one spot at a time and moves on by itself after each photo. No forms, no uploading.
Around the outside.
Start at the driver's door and walk towards the back, all the way round. The shaded part of each picture is what your photo needs to show.

Turn the ignition on for the dash photo, so the kilometres and the fuel gauge both show. Then the console, the seats and floors, and the inside of the driver's door.

Found a mark?
Add a close-up.
At any spot, tap Close-up, say what it is, and get close enough that the mark fills the middle of the frame. Then carry on round the car from the same spot. Every mark you photograph is one nobody can put on you later.

Photos that count.
Good light.
Daylight, or under a light at night. A dark photo shows nothing, and the camera will ask you to take it again.
Wipe the lens.
A quick wipe on your shirt makes every photo sharper.
Step back, do not zoom.
Get the whole panel in the frame. Zooming in loses detail you cannot get back.
Same spots both ends.
At drop off you walk the same 18 spots, so each photo lines up with its pair from pickup.
